The great Sheikh Al-Mahdi Abu Sha’lah is Libya’s foremost Ash‘ari theologian in the Twentieth Century. He was the teacher of all the main teachers of Tripoli, including the teachers of the Uthman Pasha Madrasa, in matters of doctrine. The work is a summary of Asha‘ri doctrines and proofs, and is in continuation with the tradition of such great scholars as Sanusi and Dardir. Arabic.
