The aim of the evening lecture series is to explore the big picture questions and present radical alternative systemic solutions to the climate crisis using the works of Adam Smith and Ibn Khaldun.
Speakers will draw parallels between Ibn Khaldun and Adam Smith’s theories and contemporary environmental and economic theories, analysing how insights resonate or differ from modern perspectives about climate’s impact on the rise and fall of economies and nations.
