Kalam Research and Media (KRM) and the Islamic and Strategic Studies Institute (ISSI) organised the First Kalam Village on 18-20 March 2018, bringing together 200 theological students for a 2-day retreat at The Alangs, Jalan Gombak.
This retreat brought together students from the faculty of ‘Aqidah, Usul al-Din and Islamic Thought from various institutions in Malaysia. The aim of the retreat was to allow students from various universities in the country to connect and deepen their understanding of Islamic studies. The retreat was organised in conjunction with the Third Kuala Lumpur International Kalam Symposium (KLIKS 3).
