Dr Aref Ali Nayed, Chairman of Kalam Research and Media (KRM), has published a monograph on the Consultative Meeting of ulema from the Sahel and Sudan organised by the African Conference for Peace which took place in Nouakchott, Mauritania, under the auspices of the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, H.E. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazaouani. In his essay, Dr Nayed explains the approach taken by the leading Mauritanian scholar, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Bayyah, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Peace Forum, to bring peace to Sudan and the Sahel countries.
