The Emanations of the Divine is a short commentary on poetic primer on creed by the master scholar, Ahmad al-Marzuqi (d.1281 AH/1864 CE), written by the late Libyan scholar Shihab al-Din Ahmad b. Ahmad al-Zway (d.1418 AH/1997 CE).
It was authored with the intention of teaching young students in the Sufi lodges and madrasas, and in accordance with the principles of the Ash’ari school of Sunni theology. The text also contains a summary account of the Holy Prophet’s life, peace and blessings be upon him, his family, and his companions.
