Stephen Hanlon is the Chief Project Manager of Kalam Research and Media (KRM). He is a Computer Science graduate and has industry certifications in the governance of enterprise IT and in information systems audit. Stephen has served in numerous senior management positions in the development and implementation of advanced IT solutions. He has served as general manager of an IT services company providing a comprehensive range of software and hardware solutions, along with delivering systems integration services to ensure that the solutions deliver the anticipated benefits.Stephen has served in senior roles with the 2 major international suppliers of banking software solutions—Misys and Temenos. In these roles, Stephen was responsible for ensuring the on-time delivery of core banking systems, bespoke software developments and the successful implementation of those solutions, including integration with the customers’ enterprise IT environment. Stephen served for 7 years as Chief Information Officer for one of the fastest-growing retail banks in the UAE RAKBANK. During his time with RAKBANK, best-in-class customer service was used as its key market differentiator and this was delivered through the development of innovative technology solutions. He has completed numerous systems implementation projects in the role of PM or as programme director. Stephen is certified in governance of enterprise IT and in information systems audit.
