Kuala Lumpur International Kalam Symposium 2017

After the success of the 1st Kuala Lumpur International Kalam Symposium (KLIKS1) in 2016, Kalam Research and Media (KRM) in partnership with the Islamic and Strategic Studies Institute (ISSI), and in association with Malaysian and Indonesia academic institutions, are delighted to announce the 2nd Kuala Lumpur International Kalam Symposium (KLIKS2) from 21st until 23rd of March 2017 at Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. KLIKS2 will focus on the theme “Kalam’s Engagement with Postmodern Challenges”.

Our focus this year will be a theological engagement with the challenges of postmodern world in the key areas of Human Thought and Civilization, particularly on questions connected to Ontology, Epistemology, and Axiology. Prominent scholars speaking at the event include Dr Aref Ali Nayed (Libya), Dr Saeed Foudeh (Jordan), Dr Umar Faruq Abd-Allah (USA), Dr Abdal Hakim Murad (UK), Dr Khalid Zahri (Morocco), Dr Hakima Chami (Morocco), Dr Megawati Moris (Malaysia), Dr Haslina Ibrahim (Malaysia), Dr Muhammad Zaidi Ismail (Malaysia), and Dr Muhammad Farid Sharan (Malaysia).
