Dr Aref Nayed’s keynote speech on “The Mediterranean: Reason, Faith, and Civility” in Milan has now been published in Italian in the leading cultural journal Vita e Pensiero.
Dr Aref Ali Nayed, Chairman of Kalam Research Research and Media, delivered a keynote speech on Tuesday 29th November 2022 at the prestigious Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UNICATT) in Milan on the theme “The Mediterranean: Reason, Faith, and Civility.” The lecture has now been translated and published in Italian in UNICATT’s distinguished cultural and academic journal, Vita e Pensiero.

Dr Nayed presented a tour de force of key theological, philosophical and political ideas that are fundamental for understanding the Mediterranean nexus and the interconnected destiny of nations that surround it. The lecture was introduced by Professor Antonella Sciaronne, Vice President of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, and was chaired by Professor Farouq Wael Eissa of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature of the university.
