Kalam Research and Media (KRM) and the Islamic and Strategic Studies Institute (ISSI), in partnership with the Institute of Science Islam (ISI) and the Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), organised a Kalam Renewal Laboratory on 6-7 October 2018.
Kalam Research and Media (KRM) and the Islamic and Strategic Studies Institute (ISSI), in partnership with the Institute of Science Islam (ISI) and the Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), organised a Kalam Renewal Laboratory on 6-7 October 2018. This was the first collaboration between KRM-ISSI with ISI and USIM.
The event was was attended by students, fellow researchers and professionals among the 30 participants from various backgrounds and universities. This workshop was focussed on the theme of “Decolonization and Critique of Science” and contributed to the overview of “Decolonisation of Knowledge and The Purpose of Generating Self-Construct Knowledge” that is being conducted by ISSI at the moment.
The programme was held at Pusat Komersial, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) and the lectures were presented by Professor Emeritus Shaharir Mohd Zain and Dr. Amran Muhammad.
